Aircraft   Performance   Workbook    Revision 5.0,  May 2004.
This Workbook may be used by itself or in concert with the Study Guide above to accomplish an initial
aircraft checkout.  This pamphlet leads the pilot through the performance information available from the
aircraft operating handbook and placards and loading information to determine the airspeeds and
operating limitations for their aircraft.  The completed 5½  by 8½ notebook pages will fit neatly into the
pilot’s approach chart notebook and serve as a handy quick reference for flight planning and as an
inflight reminder.  Many FAR 135 charter pilots have found these “Blue sheets” especially helpful when
operating many different aircraft with sometimes widely varying performance.
16 pages with instructions,  references and examples. $5.95 Retail.  Blue  V-speed
Sheets (20 / Packet) $2.75 Retail.
The Pilot’s Aerodynamics and Maneuvers  Handbook   Version 3.3, 2005
An extensive compilation of six articles that are both informative and thought provoking.  They are meant
to assist pilots and flight instructors in understanding and teaching many of the maneuvers required for
FAA certification from student through airline transport pilots.  This Handbook analyses the aerodynamics
and performance principals that are fundamental to the safe operation of all aircraft.  It also debunks some
of the myths and errors that have been propagated for many decades.
28 pages  with over 40 diagrams, tables and formulas. $9.95
A Practical Guide for Flight Instructors:
Technical Sources & References  Revision  2.2, 2003.
This guide contains the “Aviation Act” which is the Public Law enacted by the U.S. Congress that is the
basis from which the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) are written.  This Guide also contains the FAA
recommended endorsements that flight instructors use during the training and certification of pilots.  This
Guide further contains several annotated cross-references of Practical Test Standards that  are useful to
pilots and flight instructors by linking the regulatory operations to their explanations and descriptions
published in the various FAA Pilot Handbooks.  Finally, the center pull-outs are helpful for flight
instructors in both conducting each flight lesson and in clarifying Avionics Problems that need to be
corrected by the flight operation’s avionics repair facility.
40 pages of regulations, endorsements, tables and checklists.   $5.95 Retail.
